Hello, Stormbounders! A new version of Stormbound is coming in December, bringing Black Friday event, and balance changes.
Black Friday Event
We're hosting a Black Friday event in Stormbound! Enjoy the fantastic bonuses we've prepared for you on this occasion.
The Black Friday event starts November 29th, 2024 and will last until December 9th, 2024, 8:00 AM CET.
Black Friday Redeem Code
During the event, everyone will receive a gift of 200 coins. To grab the gift, just redeem a special code, which is valid from November 29th, 2024 and will last until December 9th, 2024, 8:00 AM CET.
Gift code: BLACKFRIDAY
- To activate the code, go to the Redeem Code site.
- Enter the code in the Code field.
- Enter your Player ID in the Player ID field (you can find your Player ID in the in-game settings and copy it from there).
- Click the Redeem Code button.

More Coins
During the event, all coin gains and the coin cap will be doubled, except for quests. The daily coin cap will be set at 1,000 coins for free-to-play players, and 2,000 coins for players with a premium pass.

Additionally, throughout the event, all paid books will come with bonus cards!
- +2 extra cards in Unit-type books, Classic Tome, Heroic Tome, and Mythic Tome
- +1 extra card in the Noble Book

Cheapened Brawl
During the event, Brawl will be available at 50% off, and if you own the Premium Pass, your usual discount will stack for a total of 60% off.

Ruby Bonus
Moreover, every Ruby bundle will yield double the original number of rubies. This is not time-bound, and effectively lasts forever until every bundle has been bought once.
Black Friday Offers
Additionally, there will be 4 premium bundles, including 2 with cool avatars, available in the store between November 29th - December 9th, 2024.
These special shop offers are now available to be purchased 3 times each, while only the first one with the Avatar, and the rest with the standard content, excluding the Avatar (because players will already own the exclusive Avatar after buying the offer for the first time).
Balance changes
This release, just like any other, will bring some balance changes.
- Icicle Burst's mana cost increased to 2 (from 1).
- Moment’s Peace's mana cost reduced to 4 (from 5), and its strength is now 3/4/5/6/7 (adjusted from 5/6/7/8/9).
- Absorbing Varmints' ability adjusted to: "Before moving, make friendly Ancients and Rodents pull enemy units from behind. Then deal 4/5/5/6/6 damage to enemy units right behind them," instead of dealing damage to pulled units.
- Moonlit Aerie's strength is now 4/5/5/6/7 (up from 3/4/4/5/6).
- Venomfall Spire's ability made to poison 1/1/2/3/4 units (up from 1/1/2/2/3).
- Obliterators' strength is now 6/7/8/9/10 (up from 5/6/7/8/9).
- Salty Outcasts' strength is now 7/8/9/10/12 (up from 6/7/8/9/11).
As usual, some compensation in the form of coins and fusion stones will be provided to owners of Icicle Burst, proportional to the level and rarity of the card. Find below the compensation values for each rarity and level.
Common card: 10 coins at level 2, 20 coins and 1 fusion stone at level 3, 50 coins and 2 fusion stones at level 4, 120 coins and 5 fusion stones at level 5.
