Update 11-2024

Hello, Stormbounders! A new version of Stormbound is coming in November, bringing balance changes and the Innovation Event!

Balance changes

This release, just like any other, will bring some balance changes.

• Greengale Serpents' ability is now 1/1/2/2/2 (down from 1/1/2/2/3), and its strength is now 1/2/2/3/4 (up from 1/2/2/3/3).
• Sound Drivers' movement is now 1 (changed from 0), and the strength is now 2/3/4/5/6 (down from 3/4/5/6/7).
• Wrinkled Foretopmen's strength is now 4/5/6/7/8 (up from 3/4/5/6/7).
• Trekking Aldermen‘s strength is now 4/5/6/7/8 (up from 3/4/5/6/7).
• Powder Tower's mana cost reduced to 5 (from 6), and the strength is now 4/5/6/7/8 (up from 3/4/4/5/6).
• Frontline Engineers‘ ability made to trigger from each friendly structure on the board, instead of triggering from surrounding structures.
  

Innovation Event

We're excited to celebrate innovation with a special in-game event! Take part and enjoy exclusive bonuses prepared just for this occasion.

The event runs from November 21st to November 29th, 2024, ending at 8:00 AM CET.

More Cards

Book of Structures and Book of Constructs will yield 2 extra cards for the duration of the whole event in store, starting from November 21st to November 29th, 2024, 8:00 AM CET.

Event Gift

During the event, everyone will receive a gift of  200 coins. To grab the gift, just redeem a special code, which is valid from November 21st to November 29th, 2024, 8:00 AM CET.

Gift code: SCIENCE

1. To activate the code, go to the redeem code site.  
2. Enter the code in the Code field.
3. Enter your Player ID in the Player ID field (you can find your Player ID in the in-game settings and copy it from there).
4. Click the Redeem Code button.

Innovation Offers

Like most events, there will be two special offers with cool avatars.

These special shop offers are now available to be purchased 3 times each, while only the first one with the Avatar, and the rest with the standard content, excluding the Avatar (because players will already own the exclusive Avatar after buying the offer for the first time).

Unity Engine Upgrade

Today’s Stormbound update is the first to run on Unity 2022, a big step forward for the game! Upgrading to this new engine has been part of our plan, but it came with quite a few changes. One key difference is that newer Unity versions have higher system requirements, like updated minimum OS versions and more memory usage.

This update was necessary to meet Google Play’s new global rules and was also applied to Apple devices to make things easier by using one engine version for both platforms.

To keep things running smoothly, you’ll now need at least iOS 13.0 or Android 8.0.

Compensation

We apologize for the inconvenience caused by an error that prevented players who played Ranked in between October 24th and 28th from receiving their seasonal cards rewards. As compensation, all affected players will receive a Classic Tome, which will be added to the seasonal chest rewards on Friday, November 1st.
