Hello, Stormbounders! A new version of Stormbound is coming in July, bringing balance changes, two new types of exclusive offers, Vacations Event and Event of Majesty!
Balance changes
This release, just like any other, will bring some balance changes.
- Siro the Resurrector's ability now allows for the respawn up to 2/2/3/3/4 non-Hero friendly units [...] (instead of 1/2/3/4/all surrounding non-legendary friendly units).
- Frozen Core’s mana cost reduced to 3 (changed from 5), ability made to gain 1 mana on all levels (instead of 2 mana), and the strength is now 2/3/4/5/6 (changed from 4/5/6/7/8).
- Boomstick Officers’ mana cost reduced to 3 (changed from 6 mana), ability made to deal 3/4/5/6/7 damage (instead of 5/6/7/8/10), and the strength is now 2/3/4/5/6 (instead of 5/6/7/8/10).
- Chateau de Cardboard‘s mana cost reduced to 3 (changed from 4 mana), and the strength is now 3/4/5/6/7 (instead of 4/5/6/7/8).
- Broken Earth Drakes’ mana cost reduced to 5 (changed from 6 mana), and the ability made to deal 2/3/4/5/6 damage [..] (changed from 3/4/5/6/7).
- Anointed Saviors‘ ability made to convert a random surrounding enemy unit with 2/3/4/5/6 or less strength (down from 3/4/5/6/7).
- Treasurous Bosuns‘ strength is now 4/5/6/7/8 (down from 5/6/7/8/9).
As usual, some compensation in the form of coins and fusion stones will be provided to owners of Anointed Saviors and Treasurous Bosuns, proportional to the level and rarity of the card. Find below the compensation values for each rarity and level.
Rare card: 
15 coins and 
2 fusion stones at level 2, 30 coins and 3 fusion stones at level 3, 90 coins and 7 fusion stones at level 4, 190 coins and 10 fusion stones at level 5.
Epic card: 15 coins and 2 fusion stones at level 2, 40 coins and 5 fusion stones at level 3, 120 coins and 10 fusion stones at level 4, 250 coins and 20 fusion stones at level 5.
Extra Rubies Pass
In this update, we are excited to introduce the Extra Rubies Pass - offer that lets you collect a great amount of rubies in smaller batches for 14 days. That is a new way for players to acquire rubies at a discounted rate.
This Ruby Pass allows players to collect 
300 rubies on the day of purchase, and a set number of rubies daily over a span of 14 days, rather than receiving them all at once.
Collecting Rubies
After purchasing the Extra Rubies Pass, a new icon with rubies will appear in the main hub. This icon will have two distinct states:
- Rubies Ready to be collected: Rubies icon with a green timer shows the remaining time to collect rubies.
- Rubies Collected, Waiting for Next Portion: Rubies icon with a red timer indicates the wait time for the next batch.
The timer shown with the Rubies icon will clearly define the 24-hour collection window, ensuring players know exactly when they can collect their next batch of rubies.
To collect Rubies, players have to tap the icon, which opens the COLLECT RUBIES popup, showing either the "ready to collect" or "waiting for next reward" state.
Players can accelerate the collection process, just like they do with calendar rewards. Be sure to check the February patch notes to read about the speed-up feature.
The flow for collecting rubies:
- The player taps the Ruby button in the main menu.
- The player immediately receives a reward from the reward sequence.
- After the reward sequence ends, the player returns to the main menu with a popup displaying the speed-up option.
- If it was the last portion of extra rubies, a different popup appears instead.
When the Extra Rubies Pass has expired, the player will get a popup with information about the end of the subscription and the ability to purchase again.
We believe this new Ruby subscription model offers a more engaging and rewarding experience for all players.
Premium Pass Subscription
With this update, we've introduced a Premium Pass subscription option. Players can now subscribe to the Premium Pass instead of purchasing it monthly.
How does the subscription option work?
The Premium Pass subscription allows players to pay a recurring fee monthly to access the Premium Pass features.
Instead of buying the Premium Pass anew each month, players can opt for the subscription model, which automatically renews until they choose to cancel it.
This offers convenience and ensures uninterrupted access to the benefits included in the Premium Pass.
Purchasing Subscription
Purchasing a Premium Pass subscription will follow the same steps as buying the previous Premium Pass:
- Select the Premium Pass icon.
- Choose the green button with the price on the Premium Pass popup.
Payment will be processed through the user's Google Play account, Apple ID, Steam Wallet, or other available payment methods on Steam.
Here's how the payment process works for each platform:
- Google Play: Users can subscribe to the Premium Pass by selecting the option within the game. Payments will be processed through their Google Play account, with automatic billing based on the subscription plan (30 days).
- App Store: iOS users can subscribe to the Premium Pass directly through the game. Payments will be handled via their Apple ID, following Apple's subscription terms, including automatic renewal according to the subscription period (30 days).
- Steam: Users on Steam can subscribe to the Premium Pass through the game's store page or within the Steam client. Payments will be processed using Steam Wallet or other available payment methods on Steam. Users will be charged monthly (30 days).
Each platform ensures a seamless payment experience through their respective systems, allowing users to easily manage subscriptions and enjoy uninterrupted access to the benefits of the Premium Pass.
All players who currently have Premium Pass activated, they still can prolong it at a discounted rate, just as it used to work till now.
In case of the discounted Premium Pass not being extended in time, there will only be option to use a new Subscription method.
Event of Majesty
Get ready for the most majestic event of the year! The Event of Majesty starts on July 23rd and ends on July 29th, 2024, at 9:00 AM CEST.
Majestic Gift
During the event, everyone will receive a gift of 200 coins. To grab the gift, just redeem a special code, which is valid from July 23rd, 2024 until July 29th, 2024, 9:00 AM CEST.

To activate the code, follow these simple steps:
- Navigate to Game Options in the top-right corner of the main menu screen.
- Tap the “Redeem code” button.
- Enter the code and tap “Claim” to confirm.

More Cards
Additionally, Book of Ravens and Book of Knights will yield 2 extra cards for the duration of the whole event in store, starting from July 23rd, 2024, and ends on July 29th, 2024, 9:00 AM CEST.
More Rubies and Coins
During this event, from July 23rd, 2024, until July 29th, 2024, at 9:00 AM CEST, every Coin bundle will yield up to 30% more resources, and every Ruby bundle will yield up to 50% more resources.
Cheapened Brawl
Finally, the Brawl starting on July 25th (and only that one) will be cheaper. All fights will be 50% off. Owners of the Premium Pass will also have their usual discount applied, leading to a 60% reduction.
