Hello, Stormbounders! A new version of Stormbound is coming in August, bringing New card, balance changes, new events and Quality of Life Improvements!
New Card
We’re excited to bring you a brand new Primal card: Exotic Smugglers!

New Brawl
A new Brawl modifier is launching on August 20th, 2026, featuring the new Exotic Smugglers card.
This modifier lets you experiment with and enjoy the card before deciding whether to add it to your collection.
In this Brawl, a 0-mana, level 1 version of the new card will automatically be added to everyone’s deck, regardless of ownership or upgrades.
This means all decks will temporarily contain 13 cards, giving you an exciting opportunity to explore new strategies with the new Primal.
Quality of Life Improvements
This update brings a couple of small but useful improvements designed to make everyday interactions in Stormbound faster and more convenient. From skipping screens to managing duplicate cards, these changes give you more control over your game experience.
Enhanced Skip button
The Skip button has been improved! Hold the button for a moment to skip all remaining screens at once, making it faster and easier to get through rewards and other sequences.
For F2P players, the first Skip hold will take you to the ad screen, so you won't accidentally skip the option to double your Coins by watching an ad. A second hold will then skip the entire remaining sequence.
Selective Card Exchange
Card Exchange is now more flexible! You can now exchange selected cards individually instead of having to exchange all eligible duplicates at once. The existing Exchange option is still available whenever you want to exchange everything at once.
Event of Magic
The Event of Magic in Stormbound starts on September 1st, 2025, until September 15th, 2025, 9:00 AM CEST.
Magic Gift
During the event, everyone will receive a gift of 200 coins. To grab the gift, just redeem a special code, which is valid from August 17th, 2026, until August 31st, 9:00 AM CEST.

- To activate the code, go to the redeem code site .
- Enter the code in the Code field.
- Enter your Player ID in the Player ID field (you can find your Player ID in the in-game settings and copy it from there).
- Click the Redeem Code button.

More Coins
During the first week of the event - from August 17th, until August 24th, 2026, 9:00 AM CEST, all coin gains and the coin cap will be doubled, except for quests.. The daily coin cap will be set at 1,000 coins for free-to-play players, and 2,000 coins for players with a premium pass.
More Cards
Additionally, Book of Magic and Book of Constructs will yield 2 extra cards for the duration of the first week of the event in store, ending on August 24th, 2026, 9:00 AM CEST.
Cheapened Brawl
Finally, the Brawl starting on August 27th, 2026 (and only that one) will be cheaper. All fights will be 50% off. Owners of the Premium Pass will also have their usual discount applied, leading to a 60% reduction.
Balance changes
This release, just like any other, will bring some balance changes.
- Razor-Sharp Lynxes' strength is now 2/3/4/5/6 (from 3/4/5/6/7) and ability is now 3/3/3/3/3 from 2/2/2/2/2
- Broodmother Qordia's Nests' strength is now 1/1/2/2/3 (from 1/1/1/1/1) and dragon hatchlings' strength is 1/2/3/4/5 (from 2/3/4/5/6)
- Icicle Burst's ability gives 1 mana for destroying a target with its damage
- Victors of the Melee's strength is now 6/7/8/9/10 (from 5/6/7/9/10) and ability is 1/2/3/4/5 (from 2/2/3/3/4)
- Lich Summoners' strength is now 5/6/6/7/8 (from 4/5/5/6/7)
NOTE: The new Icicle Burst requires a client update to function properly, so it will be delayed by a few days. We'll keep you updated on the upcoming client update, which will also include this change.
As usual, some compensation in the form of coins and fusion stones will be provided to owners of Razor-Sharp Lynxes, proportional to the level and rarity of the card. Find below the compensation values for each rarity and level.
Common card: 
10 coins at level 2, 20 coins and 
1 fusion stone at level 3, 50 coins and 2 fusion stones at level 4, 120 coins and 5 fusion stones at level 5.
Event of Majesty
Get ready for the most majestic event of the year! The Event of Majesty starts on August 3rd and ends on August 17th, 2026, at 9:00 AM CEST.
Majestic Gift
