Merry Christmas, Stormbounders! A new version of Stormbound is coming in December, bringing balance changes, a Christmas Event and some exclusive offers!

Balance changes

This release, just like any other, will bring some balance changes.

Debug Loggers’ strength is now 5/6/7/8/9 (up from 4/5/6/7/8).
Mech Workshop’s strength is now 5/5/6/7/8 (up from 3/3/4/5/6) and Mechanical Workers now spawn Mech Workshop with new strength (5/5/6/7/8)
Dawnsparks’ strength is now 6/8/10/13/16 (down from 8/10/12/15/18).
Gathering Troupe’s strength is now 2/3/4/5/6 (up from 1/2/3/4/5).
Crystalshields’ movement is now 0 (down from 1).
Headless Hotheads’ strength is now 4/5/6/7/8 (up from 3/4/5/6/7).

Nerf compensation

As usual, some compensation in the form of coins and fusion stones will be provided to owners of Dawnsparks and Crystalshields, proportional to the level and rarity of the card. Find below the compensation values for each rarity and level.

Epic card: 15 coins and 2 fusion stones at level 2, 40 coins and 5 fusion stones at level 3, 120 coins and 10 fusion stones at level 4, 250 coins and 20 fusion stones at level 5.

Christmas Event

The Chirstmas Event is coming to Stormbound, scheduled to run from December 21st, 2023 (8 AM CET) to January 1st, 2024 (8 AM CET). Embrace the holiday spirit with our special Christmas gift, exclusive bonuses, and holiday special premium offers.

To spread joy to all Stormbounders, we're gifting everyone 40 rubies and 400 coins. To grab the Christmas present, just redeem a special code, which is valid from December 21st, 2023, to December 27th, 2023.

To activate the code, follow these simple steps:

Navigate to Game Options in the top-right corner of the main menu screen.
Tap the “Redeem code” button.
Enter the code and tap “Claim” to confirm.

*Note: You can only redeem this code from December 21st (8 AM CET) until December 27th (8AM CET). If you experience any problems with activating the code, please contact @Aileen on Discord or email contact@stormboundgames.com for assistance.

Additionally, during the event, all coin gains will be doubled, except for quests. What’s more, all books, except for the Humble book, will contain more cards. Books normally holding 3 cards will contain 4, and books containing 6 cards (Mythic, Heroic and Classic) will yield 7!

Moreover, every Coin and Ruby bundle will yield up to 30% more resources.

Christmas Brawl

As part of our joyous Christmas Event, we're bringing back the Snowball Battle Brawl.

At the beginning of the battle, a Snowman is randomly spawned on the second row for each player. Friendly and enemy Snowmen are placed in the same tile from the player’s perspective (so they’re never face to face). For instance, on the 3rd tile from the left for each player. The structure has 10/15/20 strength depending on the Brawl difficulty, does not come back once destroyed and does not impact the frontline.
